Telegärtner is known for precision-engineered connectivity products, and this patch cable is no exception. The stranded copper conductors provide the flexibility needed for frequent moves, while the gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain a clean signal over time. The grey jacket blends into most office environments, and the snagless design means you can pull the cable through cable managers without breaking the locking tab. It is a straightforward, reliable choice for any Cat.5e network.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting computers, laptops, and docking stations to Ethernet wall outlets
• Linking patch panels to switches in server rooms and data cabinets
• Connecting IP phones, network printers, and other PoE-capable devices (note: this cable is not specifically rated for PoE, but Cat.5e cables generally support PoE up to 30W; check your equipment requirements)
• Temporary setups at trade shows, training rooms, or home offices
• Replacing damaged or lost patch leads in existing installations

Good to know

This cable is unshielded (U/UTP), so it is best used in environments without high electromagnetic interference. For industrial settings or areas with heavy machinery, consider a shielded option.
