Supermicro CBL-MCIO-1226M5R – kabel

In high-density server environments, every millimeter of internal cabling matters. The Supermicro CBL-MCIO-1226M5R connects MCIO 8i ports on backplanes, HBAs, RAID controllers, or motherboards with a compact 0.5-meter run, delivering PCIe Gen5 bandwidth for NVMe, SAS, and SATA storage. Its right-angle connector on one end helps route cables cleanly in tight chassis, while the straight connector on the other ensures a secure fit on standard ports. Built with shielded, high-quality copper conductors and an 85-ohm impedance, this cable maintains signal integrity at 32 GT/s per lane across all eight lanes, making it a reliable choice for data-intensive workloads.

Why choose it

This cable is engineered for Supermicro servers and components with MCIO 8i ports, ensuring compatibility and performance. The right-angle connector reduces strain on the cable and port, improving airflow and simplifying cable management in compact chassis. With PCIe Gen5 support, it is ready for next-generation storage speeds, while the shielded design minimizes interference in dense server environments.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting NVMe/SAS/SATA backplanes to host bus adapters (HBAs) or RAID controllers
• Internal cabling in Supermicro servers and workstations
• High-performance storage configurations requiring PCIe Gen5 bandwidth
• Environments where space is limited and cable routing is challenging

Good to know

The cable is RoHS compliant and currently in active production. It is intended for internal use only, not for external or outdoor applications. Always verify that your devices have MCIO 8i ports before purchase. The black colour blends with standard server internals, and the 0.5-meter length is ideal for short, direct connections without excess slack.
