Štípačky na šrouby Knipex 71 72 460

The Knipex 71 72 460 bolt cutter pliers are heavy-duty cutting tools made from chrome vanadium forged steel with oil hardening. With a total length of 460 mm, a cutting length of approximately 30 mm and a robust, induction-hardened cutting edge (approx. 62 HRC), these pliers are designed for cutting tasks up to 48 HRC. The tool features a bolted, replaceable cutter head, a forged-in stopper with a shock absorber and a very flat head and joint area to provide good access in confined spaces.

Advantages

Induction-hardened cutting edges and hardenable blade steel ensure long life and high cutting performance while the 12-position eccentric bolt enables precise adjustment. Ergonomically angled, non-slip two-colour dual-component handle sleeves on powder-coated steel tubes improve leverage and reduce user effort. The combination of cutting-edge geometry and transmission ratio gives high cutting efficiency with minimal force. The bolted cutter head is replaceable, and the joint is forged from special tool steel for robustness.

Suitable for

• Cutting medium-hard to hard bars and bolts up to 48 HRC
• Work in confined spaces requiring a very flat head
• Maintenance and industrial applications where replaceable cutter heads are needed

Key specifications

• Brand: Knipex
• Model / MPN: 71 72 460
• EAN: 4003773066750
• Total length: 460 mm
• Cutting length: approx. 30 mm
• Cutting capacity: up to 48 HRC
• Cutting-edge hardness: approx. 62 HRC (induction hardened)
• Blade material: chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel, forged, oil-hardened
• Joint material: special tool steel, forged
• Handle: steel tube, powder-coated with two-colour dual-component non-slip sleeves
• Adjustment: 12 positions by eccentric bolt

How to use

Position the cutter blades around the material to be cut with the flat head for best access. Adjust the cutter gap using the 12-position eccentric bolt to suit the material thickness. Apply steady pressure to the ergonomically angled handles to perform the cut; the transmission ratio and cutting-edge geometry reduce the required force. After repeated heavy use, check the bolted cutter head and replace it if worn. Keep the tool clean and lightly oiled to protect the forged and hardened surfaces.

Recommendations

For safe and effective cutting, select materials within the specified hardness range (up to 48 HRC) and avoid cutting hardened wire or materials exceeding the stated hardness. Wear appropriate eye and hand protection during use and inspect the bolted cutter head and joint regularly for wear. Follow manufacturer maintenance recommendations for storage and lubrication.
