Overview

The StarTech.com OS2MTP12AOFNP10M is a premium 12-fiber MTP/MPO patch cable designed for high-speed single-mode applications. It features a female MTP/MPO connector on both ends with a convenient push/pull tab for easy handling. The cable is constructed with 9/125µm OS2 single-mode fiber, ensuring minimal signal loss over long distances and compatibility with 40G and 100G Ethernet standards. The OFNP (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Plenum) jacket is flame-retardant and low-smoke, making it safe for use in plenum spaces without conduit. With a length of 10 meters, it provides flexible reach for connecting switches, routers, and fiber distribution units.
