Splice box Digitus DN-96891 pro 8 LC/DX konektorů

The Digitus DN-96891 splice box is designed for 8 LC/DX couplers and provides a compact, wall- or DIN-rail-mountable enclosure for fibre optic terminations. With dimensions of 125 mm (W) x 130 mm (D) x 35 mm (H) and a white finish, the unit organises and protects connectors and splices to simplify installation and maintenance of fibre networks.

Advantages

The splice box supports up to eight LC/DX couplers in a space-saving form factor and is suitable for constrained installation environments. Its standardised footprint and modest depth help integrate the enclosure into existing racks or DIN-rail setups. The enclosed design keeps connectors and splices protected from dust and mechanical strain, facilitating orderly cable management and reliable connections.

Suitable for

• Organising and protecting LC/DX connector terminations
• Small to medium fibre distribution points in offices or telecom closets
• DIN-rail or surface-mounted installations where space is limited

How to use

Mount the splice box on a DIN rail or a flat surface using appropriate screws or clips. Route fibre cables into the enclosure through the provided entry points, secure the cables to reduce strain, and install LC/DX couplers into the front openings. Arrange splices and excess fibre neatly inside the box to maintain bend radii and close the cover to protect connections.

Recommendations

For best performance, use with standard LC/DX couplers and follow fibre handling practices: avoid tight bends, secure cables to prevent movement, and keep the enclosure closed to reduce dust ingress. Verify compatibility with your rack or DIN-rail mounting system before installation.
