Síťový kabel Tecline 5m Cat.6

The Tecline 5m Cat.6 networking cable provides a 5-metre connection that conforms to Cat6 wiring standards. Constructed as U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable supports high-speed Ethernet links and fits standard network ports. The neutral grey jacket is suitable for home, office or data cabinet installations where a discreet appearance is preferred.

Advantages

The cable supports the performance characteristics expected of Category 6 cabling for typical horizontal and patching applications, enabling stable data transfer rates over its 5 m length. U/UTP construction offers a balance of flexibility and ease of installation in environments without strong external electromagnetic interference. Molded RJ-45 connectors ensure secure plug-in connections and help reduce strain at termination points.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and network printers in home and office networks
• Patching between patch panels and switches in small server rooms or comms cabinets
• Short-run Ethernet links for VoIP phones and IP cameras
• Setting up temporary or permanent wired network connections where 5 m length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 5 metres
• Conductor arrangement: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Grey
• Typical use: Ethernet networking up to Gigabit speeds (within Cat6 channel limits)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the network ports of the devices you want to connect—such as a computer and a switch or router—until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For rack or cabinet installations, secure the cable using cable management accessories to prevent tension on the connectors. If connecting to a patch panel, insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding panel port and verify link/activity LEDs on connected devices to confirm a successful connection.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep cable runs within recommended horizontal distances for Cat6 deployments and avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or heavy machinery. Use this U/UTP cable in environments with low external interference; consider shielded alternatives if operating near significant EMI sources. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or conductors show wear.
