síťový kabel shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable, 5 meters in length, provides a shielded twisted-pair connection designed for high-speed data transmission. Constructed with U/FTP (overall unshielded pair with individual foil shielding) and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this black cable is intended for reliable wired network links between routers, switches, servers, and endpoints. The cable supports the electrical and performance characteristics associated with Category 7 standards to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference in typical home and office environments.

Advantages

U/FTP (STP) shielding around each twisted pair enhances signal integrity and reduces external interference, improving stability for high-bandwidth applications. The 5 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices within rooms without excess slack. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance for long-term use. The cable's Category 7 specification supports higher frequencies than lower-category cables, enabling improved performance for demanding network tasks.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and PCs in home networks
• Connecting network-attached storage (NAS) and media servers
• Professional office environments requiring stable LAN links
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD streaming and online gaming
• Structured cabling runs within single rooms or short rack-to-rack links

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 5 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (individual foil shield per pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: black
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper (manufacturer typical construction for patch cables)
• Use: LAN patch cable

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on your router, switch, or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that can damage the internal pairs or foil shielding; maintain gentle curves with a bend radius appropriate for network patch cables. For rack installations, use cable management clips or trays to keep the cable organized and reduce strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is beneficial, such as near power supplies or office equipment. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for long distances. For permanent in-wall installations or where plenum-rated materials are required, select a cable specifically certified for those conditions. Test network performance after installation with your preferred network diagnostic tools to confirm link speed and stability.
