Síťový kabel Hikvision DS-1LN5E-E/E černý 305 m Cat5e U/UTP

The Hikvision DS-1LN5E-E/E Black 305 m Cat5e U/UTP is a networking cable designed for structured cabling in small offices, homes and commercial environments. Manufactured to Cat5e standard and supplied on a 305-metre reel, the cable supports reliable data transmission for Ethernet networks. The cable has U/UTP construction and a black outer sheath, providing a discreet appearance for visible runs and basic resistance to handling during installation.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides a balance of performance and cost-efficiency for 100BASE-TX and Gigabit-capable short runs. The U/UTP design (unshielded twisted pairs within an overall unshielded jacket) reduces crosstalk between wire pairs without requiring additional shielding. The 305 m reel length minimises joins for longer runs, and the black sheath offers a professional look for exposed installations.

Suitable for

• Ethernet LAN connections (10/100/1000 Mbps) in residential and small business networks
• Patch panels and horizontal cabling in office environments
• Cabling for IP cameras, VoIP phones and networked devices where Cat5e performance is sufficient
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a black jacket is preferred for aesthetics

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs, unshielded overall)
• Length: 305 m
• Colour: Black
• Conductor type: copper-based conductors (stranded or solid depending on reel cut)
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission and structured cabling

How to use

Measure the required run length and cut the cable from the reel, allowing additional slack for terminations. Strip the outer jacket carefully to expose the twisted pairs, maintain pair twist as much as possible, and arrange conductors according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Use appropriate RJ45 connectors or punch-down onto keystone jacks and patch panels designed for Cat5e. Test each run with a network cable tester to verify continuity, pair mapping and signal integrity before commissioning the network.

Recommendations

Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce electromagnetic interference. For installations requiring higher shielded protection or longer Gigabit runs, consider Cat6 or shielded cable types. Store the reel in a dry environment and avoid tight bends or kinks during installation to preserve cable performance.
