Síťový kabel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 2 m

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 2m networking cable is designed for reliable wired connections in home and office networks. This 2-meter grey cable uses CAT6 construction with S/FTP (shielded overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity for gigabit Ethernet and compatible networking standards. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors for quick, tool-free installation with switches, routers, PCs, and other networked devices.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to sustain stable high-speed data transfer. The CAT6 specification supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and delivers consistent performance across typical LAN distances. The 2 m length offers flexibility for desktop and near-rack connections while keeping cable clutter minimal. The grey jacket presents a neutral appearance that integrates easily into many environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to network switches or routers
• Linking networked devices in home offices and small business setups
• Short patch runs between patch panels and wall sockets
• Gigabit Ethernet connections for streaming, file sharing, and VoIP

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Cabling category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Supported standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your network devices until it clicks into place. Ensure connected devices are powered and configured for the desired network settings. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; secure it with clips or ties if necessary to prevent strain on the connectors. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables over long distances.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6 S/FTP cable for short to medium-length gigabit connections where shielding is required to minimise interference. Regularly inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if the outer jacket or connectors show wear. For installations that require longer runs or different environmental protection, select an appropriate length and jacket type.
