Síťová karta Broadcom BCM957504-N425G

The Broadcom BCM957504-N425G is an internal network card engineered for high-speed wired connectivity in servers and workstations. Designed with a PCI Express host interface and fiber connectivity, the card supports data transfer rates up to 25000 Mbit/s. Its construction uses aluminum and nickel finishes with green accents to provide a durable, low-profile module suitable for dense equipment racks and demanding network environments.

Advantages

The card delivers multi-gigabit throughput over fiber, enabling low-latency, high-bandwidth links for data centre and enterprise networks. Use of a PCI Express host interface ensures broad compatibility with modern server platforms while fiber connectivity offers improved distance and electromagnetic immunity compared with copper solutions. The lightweight design and robust materials contribute to long-term reliability and thermal stability in continuous-operation scenarios.

Suitable for

• Data centre aggregation and spine switches
• High-performance computing clusters
• Enterprise servers requiring high-bandwidth uplinks
• Storage networks and backup appliances
• Telecommunications and carrier-grade equipment

How to use

Install the Broadcom BCM957504-N425G into an available PCI Express slot following the server or workstation manufacturer’s hardware installation guidelines. Ensure the system is powered down and properly grounded before installation. Connect appropriate fiber transceivers and fiber optic cables to the card’s interface, then power on the system and verify firmware and driver compatibility. Configure network settings through the operating system or network management tools to enable the required links and routing.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use certified fiber transceivers and single-mode or multimode fiber consistent with your network design, keep firmware and drivers up to date, and ensure adequate airflow around the card to maintain thermal stability during sustained high throughput.
