Whether a metropolitan city or a sleepy provincial village: The yellow delivery vehicles with the three large red letters of the DHL express package and letter service are omnipresent. The package service was founded in San Francisco in 1969 as a company for transporting valuables: Back then the three founders delivered freight documents from ships, and other important documents by aeroplane from San Francisco to Honolulu.
