SFTP patch kabel Cat5e Draka Comteq 21.05.5020 šedý 2 m

The SFTP Patch Cable Cat5e Draka Comteq 21.05.5020 Grey 2m is a shielded Ethernet patch lead designed for stable network connections over short to medium distances. The cable uses shielded twisted pairs (S/FTP) and a Cat5e performance class to reduce electromagnetic interference and support common Ethernet speeds used in office and home networks. The 2 meter length and grey jacket make it suitable for patching between switches, patch panels and wall outlets while maintaining a discreet appearance.

Advantages

The shielded construction of this SFTP patch cable reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity in environments with nearby power lines or other cabling. Cat5e specification provides reliable performance for 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T networks at typical office distances. The PVC jacket and standard RJ45 terminations offer durability and compatibility with most network equipment, and the 2 m length allows flexible placement of devices without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Patching between network switches and patch panels in data cabinets
• Connecting computers, printers and NAS devices to local area networks
• Home and small office network setups where interference reduction is required
• Short cable runs behind desks, between wall outlets and network equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e (enhanced twisted pair performance)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Conductor type: stranded copper conductors for patch cable flexibility
• Connector: RJ45 crimped plugs on both ends
• Jacket color and material: grey PVC outer sheath
• Typical supported speeds: up to 1 Gbps over short distances (dependent on network equipment)

How to use

Insert each RJ45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your network devices until it clicks into place. Use the 2 m cable to connect switches, patch panels, routers or end devices where a short, reliable link is required. Avoid tight bends near the connectors and keep the cable away from high-voltage power cables to maintain optimal signal performance. For best results, ensure connectors are fully seated and test the link with network diagnostic tools if available.

Recommendations

For installations in electrically noisy environments or where longer runs are present, consider verifying grounding of shielded equipment and using shielded patch panels or keystone jacks to preserve the cable's SFTP shielding effectiveness.
