Sada vrtáků HSS Bosch 2607019925

HSS Twist Drill Bits Cobalt Sets from Bosch (model 2607019925) are high-speed steel twist drills with 5% cobalt designed for drilling stainless steel and other hard metals. Fully ground HSS construction and a 135° split-point tip provide precise centring and reduced wandering, while two cutters and two flutes ensure fast chip evacuation and extended tool life. The bits have a cylindrical shank (shank diameter equals drill diameter) for use in drill stands and hand-held drill drivers and are manufactured to DIN 338 with diameter tolerance h8. Suitable for alloyed and non-alloyed steel, stainless steel, cast iron, cast steel and acid- and heat-resistant steels.

Advantages

The cobalt alloy (5%) and fully ground high-speed steel body increase wear resistance and heat protection, resulting in longer life when drilling hard metals. The split-point 135° tip gives active cutting and accurate centring without wandering, while two flutes accelerate chip removal to maintain cutting performance. Cylindrical shanks allow stable mounting in drill stands and drivers.

Suitable for

• Drilling stainless steel
• Drilling alloyed and non-alloyed steels
• Drilling cast iron and cast steel
• Working with acid- and heat-resistant steels
• Use in drill stands and handheld drill drivers

How to use

Select the appropriate drill bit size from the set and secure it in the chuck so the cylindrical shank is properly seated. Use appropriate feed and speed for the material being drilled: lower speeds for stainless and hard alloys to reduce heat. Apply steady pressure and allow the bit to remove chips; if drilling deep holes, retract periodically to clear chips and reduce heat build-up. Use cutting fluid when working with stainless or heat-resistant steels to prolong bit life and improve surface finish.

Recommendations

For best results when drilling stainless and other hard metals, use coolant or cutting oil, maintain moderate drilling speeds, and avoid excessive axial force. Regularly clear chips and replace worn bits to ensure precise holes and extended tool life.
