The Wera 05024242001 L-TORX key set is a high-quality tool kit for working with recessed TORX screws. Manufactured in the Czech Republic, the nine-piece set includes a range of TX sizes and is designed for reliable, long-lasting use. Each L-key features laser-engraved size markings for quick identification and a BlackLaser surface treatment that improves surface protection and corrosion resistance. The keys are supplied in a durable clip fastener that keeps them securely stored and allows simple removal when needed.

Advantages

The L-TORX keys include ball-end geometry on the long arms for angled access in tight or awkward installation situations. Laser-engraved, wear-resistant size markings ensure easy identification throughout the tool's service life. The BlackLaser finish increases resistance to wear and corrosion, extending durability. The clip fastener is made from wear-resistant material to provide secure storage and convenient transport.

How to use

Select the appropriate TX size for the recessed TORX screw, insert the short or long arm of the L-key into the screw head and apply steady turning force. Use the long arm with the ball-end when angled entry is required; the ball-end allows engagement at slight angles for access in confined or obstructed locations. Keep the clip fastener attached for organized storage and remove individual keys by pressing them out of the clip when needed.

Recommendations

Use the correct TX size to prevent rounding of screw heads. Avoid excessive torque beyond the tool's intended use and inspect keys regularly for wear or damage. Store the set in the supplied clip fastener to protect markings and maintain organized storage.
