Ruční kabelový nůž Cimco 120178

The Cimco 120178 hand cable cutter is a compact manual tool designed for precision cutting of electrical cables. Weighing approximately 980 g and featuring a black and red ergonomic handle, this cutter provides a balanced feel and secure grip for repetitive cutting tasks. The tool is intended to deliver clean, burr-free cuts on common cable types encountered in installation, maintenance, and light construction work.

Advantages

The cutter combines a sturdy cutting head with an ergonomic handle to reduce hand fatigue and improve control. Its design enables accurate alignment with the conductor for straight cuts and minimizes fraying of cable jackets. The durable construction supports frequent use in workshop or on-site conditions while the handle finish enhances slip resistance even when used with gloves.

Suitable for

• Cutting insulated electrical cables and flexible multi-core cables
• Electrical installation and maintenance work
• DIY wiring projects and household repairs
• Workshop use for technicians and electricians

Key specifications

• Tool type: manual hand cable cutter
• Approximate weight: 980 g
• Handle: ergonomic, two-color (black and red) for improved grip
• Cutting performance: designed for clean cuts on common insulated and flexible cables
• Construction: robust metal cutting head suitable for frequent use

How to use

Position the cable between the cutting blades at the required length and squeeze the handles firmly and evenly until the cable is severed. For larger diameter cables, make sure the cable fits within the cutter's jaw opening before applying force. Keep the cutting head perpendicular to the cable to achieve a straight, clean cut. After cutting, inspect the conductor and insulation to confirm a clean edge and re-trim if necessary.

Recommendations

Use the tool on appropriate cable types within its capacity and avoid cutting hardened steel or materials not intended for cable cutters. Wear suitable hand protection and observe standard electrical safety practices: disconnect power before cutting live wiring. Store the cutter dry and clean to maintain blade condition and check periodically for wear or damage.
