PTC topení Rittal 3105.380

The Rittal 3105.380 PTC heater is a compact enclosure heating module designed to maintain stable internal temperatures for electrical cabinets and control panels. It provides continuous thermal output in the range of 235–800 W and integrates a fan to support effective air circulation. The unit measures 103 mm x 103 mm x 200 mm, operates from a 230 V, 50–60 Hz supply, and uses a quick-connect terminal for straightforward installation.

Advantages

The PTC heater delivers self-regulating heat output within the specified 235–800 W range, reducing the need for complex controls. Its integrated fan improves temperature distribution inside enclosures while the compact housing and quick-connect terminal simplify mounting and wiring. Rated for a maximum current of 4 A, the device is suitable for continuous operation in electrical cabinets to help protect components from condensation and low-temperature stress.

How to use

Mount the Rittal 3105.380 inside the enclosure according to the manufacturer's mounting guidelines and ensure adequate clearance for airflow. Connect the unit to a 230 V, 50–60 Hz supply using the quick-connect terminal and verify that the enclosure's internal wiring and protective devices are rated for the heater's maximum current of 4 A. After power-up, the PTC element will self-regulate heat output; the fan will circulate air to distribute the temperature evenly. Regularly inspect the fan and electrical connections as part of scheduled maintenance.

Recommendations

Install the heater in an upright position where the fan intake and outlet remain unobstructed. Use in enclosures with appropriate ingress protection and ensure any thermostats or controllers used are compatible with PTC behaviour. Follow safety standards for electrical equipment and de-energize the unit before performing maintenance.
