ProXtend SC-SC UPC OM1 Duplex optický kabel 10M

The ProXtend SC-SC UPC OM1 Duplex 10M fiber cable is a 10-meter multimode patch cord with a 62.5 µm glass core and SC connectors on both ends. Designed for full duplex communication, this OM1 cable is intended for high-speed data transmission in local area networks and other short- to medium-distance fiber links. The cable jacket is made of LSZH material and the assembly tolerates operating temperatures from -20 to 70 °C.

Advantages

This ProXtend duplex fiber cable provides reliable multimode signal transmission using standard SC UPC connectors and a 62.5 µm core suitable for legacy and current multimode equipment. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, while the duplex SC-SC configuration simplifies installation for point-to-point full duplex links. The 10 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or room-to-room connections within buildings.

Suitable for

• LAN backbone and horizontal multimode links
• Inter-rack or inter-room fiber connections
• Data centers and telecommunications closets with SC connector interfaces
• Multimode network equipment using 62.5/125 µm OM1 fiber

How to use

Connect each SC connector to the corresponding SC port on your transceivers or patch panels, ensuring proper alignment of the UPC end faces. Use the duplex clip or keyed connector orientation to maintain correct transmit/receive pairing for full duplex operation. Route the cable with appropriate bend radius and secure it in cable management trays or racks to avoid strain on the connectors and fiber.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep connector end-faces clean and inspect them before installation; avoid exceeding the specified bend radius and ambient temperature range. Use this OM1 duplex cable for short- to medium-distance multimode links where 62.5 µm core fiber is required.
