Převodník pohlaví kabelu ShiverPeaks BS75005-MS-SET

The ShiverPeaks BS75005-MS-SET Cable Gender Changer is a compact adapter that converts the connector gender of standard RJ-45 network cables for straightforward patching and reconfiguration. Its gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help maintain consistent electrical contact, while the white housing provides a neutral appearance suitable for office or home network installations. The adapter is intended for Ethernet patching where reversing or joining cable ends is necessary without replacing existing cabling.

Advantages

This gender changer offers reliable electrical contact through gold-plated pins, minimizing signal loss and contact degradation over time. Its compact form factor allows placement in crowded patch panels or behind equipment without occupying significant space. The neutral-colored housing blends into most networking environments, and the simple plug-and-play design requires no tools or configuration for immediate use.

Suitable for

• Joining two RJ-45 cables to extend cable length in local network setups
• Converting connector gender for compatibility with patch panels or wall jacks
• Temporary network reconfiguration during maintenance or testing
• Compact installations where a small inline adapter is preferred

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45 gender change
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing color: white
• Form factor: compact inline adapter designed for minimal space use

How to use

To use the adapter, simply insert the RJ-45 plug of one cable into one end of the gender changer and insert the RJ-45 plug of the second cable into the opposite end. Ensure both plugs are fully seated until the retaining tabs click into place. After connecting, verify network link lights or test network connectivity to confirm a stable connection. No tools or additional configuration are required.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for short-term or semi-permanent connections; avoid relying on inline adapters for permanent, long-distance runs where a single continuous cable would provide better mechanical reliability and signal integrity. Keep the adapter away from areas with heavy mechanical stress and protect it from moisture and extreme temperatures to maintain contact performance.
