• HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT

Before using POXIPOL adhesive, the surface should be cleaned, dried, degreased and rust removed. It is recommended to sand very smooth or shiny surfaces with sandpaper.

POXIPOL dries in 10 minutes, but reaches maximum strength after 24 hours.

Before the bonded surface hardens, it can be smoothed with a spatula or knife previously dipped in water.

• Do not mix up the caps when closing POXIPOL tubes.
• After finishing, wash your hands with soap and warm water.

To facilitate mixing of POXIPOL adhesive components, the package contains a SELF-CLEANING MIXING TRAY (it is a tray made of a special material to which the adhesive does not stick. Before use, detach the applicator from it. Remove dried adhesive residues to reuse the tray).

To increase adhesion of POXIPOL 10 minutes to stainless steel, bronze or other smooth surface, we recommend sanding it with sandpaper before bonding.

To ensure proper adhesion of POXIPOL to plastic, we suggest the following procedure

Clean the surfaces to be bonded with a cloth soaked in acetone or alcohol. First check on an invisible surface whether the solvent will not damage the plastic.

Gently sand the surface with abrasive cloth or wet sandpaper with grit 180 or finer.

• Wipe again with solvent.

The impact and shock resistance of POXIPOL adhesive can be increased as follows

Squeeze out the components of POXIPOL Metallic 10 min. in equal proportions.

To each component separately add cut steel wool fibers (contained in a pot and dish scrubber), mix until a plastic, not too thick mass is obtained.

Mix both components containing fibers until you get a homogeneous, easy-to-apply mixture. When POXIPOL fully hardens, thanks to the fibers it will be more resistant to impacts and shocks.

• PRECAUTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
• POXIPOL shows the highest strength at ambient temperature.

POXIPOL withstands temperatures up to 120°C depending on the application.

After drying, POXIPOL can be sanded, sawed and drilled using commonly available tools.

A mixture of POXIPOL components in equal proportions (volume ratio 1:1) ensures the highest adhesive strength. It is not recommended to change the mixture proportions.

• POXIPOL is not flammable.
• POXIPOL is not resistant to direct fire.

POXIPOL metallic and transparent bond equally strongly and solidly. Both adhesives are suitable for joining elements subjected to very high stresses.

POXIPOL transparent is intended for applications where aesthetic appearance is important.

To remove the product from the skin, we recommend rubbing it with a gentle abrasive material, e.g. pumice. Then apply a protective cream to soothe irritation.

• WARNING
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes. May cause irritation.

In case of contact with skin, immediately wash with plenty of warm soapy water.

• If irritation persists, consult a doctor.
• Contains epoxy resin and tertiary amine.
• Do not swallow. Keep away from children and pets.

After using POXIPOL adhesive, wash your hands with soap and warm water.

The product should be used according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
