Patch kabel Draka Comteq TM31 0,5 m

The Draka Comteq TM31 0.5m patch cable is a Cat6a network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a 0.5 metre length. Designed for short connections in local networks, the cable offers the electrical characteristics of Category 6a for higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower categories. The bright yellow jacket provides fast visual identification in patch panels and cable runs, while the compact length reduces excess cable clutter in dense installations.

Advantages

The cable supports high-speed data transmission consistent with Cat6a performance expectations and is suitable for gigabit and multi-gigabit network links over short runs. Its molded RJ-45 plugs provide secure terminations and ease of insertion and removal. The short 0.5m length decreases crosstalk and physical slack in confined environments, and the durable outer jacket improves handling and longevity under normal installation conditions.

Suitable for

• Connecting network equipment in patch panels and switch ports within racks
• Short links between wall outlets and desktop devices
• Data centre or telecom equipment where space is limited
• Home lab and office setups that require color-coded cabling

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance class
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Casing color: yellow
• Purpose: patch/patching link for short-distance network connections

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks into place. Use the 0.5m cable to connect adjacent switch ports, patch panel ports or to link a wall outlet and a nearby device. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and do not route the cable over sharp edges. For best results, keep the cable run as short and direct as possible to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

Verify that connected equipment supports the desired network speed; while the cable meets Cat6a performance expectations, actual link speed depends on the capabilities of connected devices and network configuration. Use the yellow jacket to implement color-coded cabling schemes for easier maintenance and troubleshooting.
