Open the front access panel according to the printer user guide, remove the spent drum unit following the manufacturer's instructions, and handle the new drum by its edges to avoid touching the drum surface. Insert the OKI original drum into the correct position until it locks into place, then close the access panel and power the printer on. Perform a test print or calibration if recommended by the printer menu to verify installation and print quality.

Recommendations

Store the drum in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Replace the drum before it reaches the end-of-life indicators shown in the printer's status messages to maintain consistent print quality and avoid potential damage to the printer. Use original OKI supplies for best compatibility and predictable results.
