Optický kabel VALUE 21.99.8836 15 m LC růžový

The VALUE 21.99.8836 is a 15 m OM4 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends. Designed for multimode high-speed data transmission, this cable has a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex communication. The pink jacket provides easy visual identification in patch panels and cable trays while the construction is intended to deliver consistent signal quality and low attenuation across typical Ethernet and storage networking distances.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fibre specification offers improved bandwidth and a longer reach for 10 Gigabit and higher data rates compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. LC connectors on both ends provide compact, latch-style termination that is compatible with standard transceivers and patch panels. The 15 m length balances flexibility and reach for installations between equipment racks or across small server room layouts. The colored jacket simplifies cable management and identification without affecting transmission characteristics.

Suitable for

• Data center patching between switches, servers and storage arrays
• High-speed LAN and backbone links within buildings
• Server room and rack-to-rack connections
• Optical test setups and lab environments requiring multimode OM4

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Length: 15 m
• Cable jacket color: pink
• Intended use: indoor structured cabling and patching

How to use

Connect each LC connector to the corresponding LC port on your transceivers, patch panels or network equipment, ensuring proper duplex orientation for transmit and receive channels. Avoid tight bends near the connector ends and maintain the cable bend radius recommended for multimode fibre to prevent microbending losses. Secure the cable in routing trays or with Velcro ties to prevent strain on the connectors and to keep the installation tidy.

Recommendations

Before installation, inspect connector endfaces for contamination and clean with appropriate fibre-cleaning tools if necessary. Use the cable for intended indoor applications and avoid exposing it to moisture or direct outdoor sunlight. For best performance with 10GbE and higher, pair the OM4 fibre with matching multimode transceivers and maintain proper connector cleanliness and handling procedures.
