Optický kabel VALUE 21.99.8826

The VALUE 21.99.8826 is a 15 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter, designed for high-speed full duplex data transmission in modern network environments. It supports multimode fibre performance characteristics suitable for short- to medium-range links in data centres, server rooms and LAN backbones, providing stable signal integrity and reduced attenuation over the specified distance.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre optic cable offers predictable modal bandwidth for laser-optimized multimode transmission and low insertion loss thanks to precision LC connectors. The 15 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack and rack-to-switch connections while maintaining consistent full duplex operation. The 50 µm core diameter ensures compatibility with standard multimode transceivers and simplifies installation in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Data centre horizontal and vertical cabling
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections
• High-speed LAN backbones and aggregation links
• Multimode transceiver interconnects (LC duplex)

Key specifications

• Cable type: Multimode OM3 fibre
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Typical applications: Short- to medium-range optical links

How to use

Ensure both ends of the fibre cable are clean and free from dust or debris before insertion. Align the LC connectors with the transceiver or patch panel ports and insert until they click into place to establish a secure duplex connection. Confirm link status on connected devices and, if necessary, use an optical power meter or cable tester to verify signal levels and continuity. When rerouting, avoid tight bends and secure the cable with appropriate cable management to prevent microbends that could degrade performance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, handle the OM3 fibre cable by the connector housing rather than pulling on the cable jacket, maintain minimum bend radius as specified by multimode fibre handling guidelines, and perform connector cleaning prior to connection. Use this cable with compatible multimode transceivers and avoid subjecting it to excessive tension, crushing, or exposure to liquids.
