Optický kabel S/CONN ShiverPeaks 77960/3 10 m

The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 77960/3 is a 10 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors designed for high-speed data transfer in network and telecommunication environments. The cable features a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex communication, making it suitable for backbone links, server connections and active equipment interconnects where multimode fibre performance is required.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable provides low attenuation and consistent signal integrity across the 10 m length, enabling reliable transmission for short- to medium-range connections. The combination of LC and SC terminations ensures compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment and patch panels. The full duplex configuration allows simultaneous bi-directional data flow, supporting modern high-throughput applications and reducing latency in switched environments.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack connections
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links
• Telecommunications equipment interconnects
• Multimode fibre LAN installations and backbone cabling

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Length: 10 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector types: LC to SC
• Transmission mode: Full duplex

How to use

Connect the LC end to equipment or transceivers that accept LC connectors and the SC end to patch panels or devices with SC ports. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to avoid signal loss. Route the cable following good cabling practice: avoid sharp bends, maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for OM3 fibre, and secure the cable to prevent strain on the terminations. Verify link status and signal quality after installation using appropriate diagnostic tools.

Recommendations

For best performance, clean connector endfaces with a fibre-grade cleaning tool before each connection, avoid exceeding the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, and use the cable within structured cabling environments where multimode OM3 specifications are required. Store coiled cables without tight loops and protect connectors with dust caps when not in use.
