Optický kabel Microconnect FIB422001 InfiniBand 1 m LC SC modrý

The MicroConnect FIB422001 is a 1 m OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC and SC connectors. It has a 50/125 µm core/cladding structure, supports full-duplex links and is suitable for high-speed Ethernet applications such as 10G SR, 10G LRM and SFP+ transceivers. The cable uses LSZH outer jacket material and comes in blue for easy identification.

Advantages

This OM3 50/125 µm multimode cable is bend-insensitive, exhibiting lower attenuation when bent or twisted compared with traditional multimode fibres, which simplifies installation and reduces maintenance effort. The use of LSZH jacket material improves safety in enclosed spaces by producing less smoke and toxic fumes in case of fire. The LC–SC connector combination provides reliable, standardized termination for data centre and enterprise networks.

Suitable for

• 10G SR and 10G LRM links
• SFP+ transceiver connections
• 10G/40G/100G Ethernet within data centres and wiring closets
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fibre runs

Key specifications

• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: SC
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode, 50/125 µm
• Length: 1 m
• Jacket: LSZH
• Colour: Blue
• Duplex: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect connectors for dust and contamination before connecting. Insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port until you hear or feel the latch engage. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer. For duplex links ensure correct polarity by matching transmit to receive ports on both ends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force during installation, keep connector end-faces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools, and use within the intended multimode link distances for OM3 when deploying 10G or higher-speed links.
