Optický kabel InfiniBand SFP+ BlueOptics X2130A-5M-N-BL 5m samec/samec

The BlueOptics X2130A-5M-N-BL is a 5 m InfiniBand / fibre optic cable with SFP+ connectors and a male-to-male termination designed for short-range, high-speed interconnects. It implements a direct-attach twinax copper design compatible with SFP+ ports and supports 10G data rates over a 5 metre distance. The cable is intended for use in rack-to-rack or intra-rack connections in data centers and enterprise network environments where low latency and low power consumption are required.

Advantages

The cable provides a simple passive direct-attach solution that does not require external transceivers or active components, resulting in reduced power consumption and lower latency. Constructed according to MSA-compliant SFP+ DAC standards, it uses high-quality materials and tested components to ensure interoperability with major network hardware that supports 10GBase-CR and InfiniBand/Fibre Channel over short distances. Its 5 m length and twinax construction offer a cost-effective option for short cable runs in rack environments.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics X2130A-5M-N-BL by inserting each SFP+ connector firmly into the SFP+ ports of the devices to be linked, ensuring the latches click into place. Use the cable for short-distance links where both endpoints support passive SFP+ DAC cables and the corresponding 10GBase-CR or InfiniBand/Fibre Channel protocols. No external power or transceivers are required; device software or firmware may require recognition or enabling of passive DAC support according to the hardware vendor's instructions.

Recommendations

Ensure connected devices explicitly support passive SFP+ DAC cables and the 10GBase-CR specification. Route the 5 m twinax cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, and confirm firmware or driver compatibility on switches, routers and storage arrays for proper link negotiation.
