Optický kabel DeLOCK 88306 CS samec na LC Duplex OS2 2 m

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Cable 88306 is a 2 m singlemode OS2 patch cable with a CS male connector on one end and an LC Duplex connector on the other. Designed for use in data centres and telecommunications, the cable has a 9 µm core diameter for singlemode transmission and supports full duplex connections. Its compact CS connector is suited for high-density cabling environments.

Advantages

The CS male to LC Duplex construction provides compatibility between equipment using CS transceivers and standard LC interfaces while saving space thanks to the smaller CS form factor. OS2 singlemode fibre offers low attenuation over long distances, and the 2 m length is suitable for short cross-connections and patching in racks and fibre panels. Colour coding on the cable jacket helps identify fibre type and polarity.

How to use

Route the optical cable between the CS-equipped transceiver and the LC Duplex port, ensuring proper alignment of the connectors. Use the push-pull tab on the CS connector to insert or remove the plug without applying sideways force. Maintain correct polarity for duplex connections by following your equipment’s transmit/receive mapping. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable to prevent stress near the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this OS2 CS-to-LC Duplex cable for short patching runs within racks and fibre distribution panels. Keep bending radii within manufacturer limits, handle connectors with clean hands or use lint-free wipes and appropriate fibre cleaning tools to avoid contamination that can impair signal quality.
