How to use

Grip the ash handle with both hands for controlled swings when chopping or splitting wood. Keep the cutting edge aligned with the workpiece and use steady, controlled motions; for lighter pruning or trimming, use shorter, precise strikes. Regularly inspect the handle and head for secure attachment and avoid striking hard metal or stone to prevent edge damage.

Recommendations

Maintain the cutting edge by sharpening as needed and protect the ash handle from prolonged moisture; store the hatchet in a dry place and use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection when working.
