Ochranné přepravní pouzdro Delta Optical DO-6923 pro optiku

Deltaoptical DO-6923 protective transport cover is a form-fitting, waterproof accessory designed to shield OTA-style optics and compact equipment during transport and storage. Constructed from durable fabric with sealed seams and a soft interior lining, the cover reduces exposure to moisture, dust and light abrasion while maintaining a slim profile for packing. Its design accommodates typical tube-shaped instruments and similar gear, providing a practical barrier against environmental factors encountered in field use and travel.

Advantages

The cover combines waterproof outer material with a padded inner layer to protect optical surfaces and housings from scratches and humidity. A tailored fit minimizes movement inside the cover, reducing impact during handling. Lightweight construction and low bulk allow the cover to be used alone or inside a larger bag without adding significant weight. The neutral exterior resists dirt and is easy to clean, supporting straightforward maintenance.

Suitable for

• Protecting OTA-style telescopes and optical tubes during transport
• Covering spotting scopes, small binoculars and compact optics in the field
• Safe storage of delicate equipment in garages, closets or storage cases
• Travel protection against rain, dust and incidental abrasion

Key specifications

• Waterproof outer fabric with sealed seams for moisture resistance
• Soft inner lining to reduce surface abrasion on optics
• Padded construction to provide light impact protection
• Slim, form-fitting shape for tube-style instruments
• Lightweight and low-bulk for easy packing and transport

How to use

Slide the cover over the instrument so the soft lining contacts the optical tube and any exposed surfaces. Ensure the cover fits snugly along the length of the tube and that sealed seams face outward to maximize water resistance. For longer storage or transport, check that eyepieces and other protruding parts are positioned to avoid concentrated pressure points. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth to remove dirt; allow the cover and the instrument to dry fully before packing into closed cases.

Recommendations

For best protection, use the cover together with lens caps and eyepiece covers to prevent moisture and dust reaching optical elements. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when the cover is in place to minimize heat buildup, and inspect the lining periodically for trapped debris that could scratch surfaces.
