Nespravovaný switch Trendnet TI-PE80

The TRENDnet TI-PE80 is an unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch that provides eight 10/100 RJ-45 ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. Designed for simple network expansion, the unit delivers a switching capacity of 1.6 Gbit/s and maintains a MAC address table with 1000 entries. The TI-PE80 complies with IEEE networking standards and accepts a DC input voltage of 48–56 V. Its compact black housing and wall-mountable design make it practical for small office, retail, or surveillance network installations.

Advantages

The TI-PE80 offers plug-and-play operation without the need for configuration, simplifying deployment for users who require reliable wired connectivity with PoE power delivery. With eight Fast Ethernet ports providing both data and power, the switch supports connected devices such as IP cameras and access points while keeping installation tidy through a compact form factor and wall-mount compatibility. Standards compliance ensures interoperability with existing IEEE-based equipment.

Suitable for

• Small office networks requiring additional Ethernet ports with PoE
• IP surveillance systems using PoE cameras
• Wireless access point deployment in retail or light-commercial sites
• Edge network expansion where unmanaged switches are preferred

How to use

Mount the TI-PE80 on a wall or place it on a stable surface near your network devices and a compatible DC power source supplying 48–56 V. Connect network devices using standard Cat5e or Cat6 cables to the RJ-45 ports; PoE-capable ports will supply power automatically to IEEE 802.3af/at compliant devices. No configuration is required—devices connected to the switch will obtain link and network access according to your existing network setup and connected equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable PoE operation, calculate total power requirements of connected devices and ensure the power source can provide sufficient wattage within the supported input voltage range. Use shielded or unshielded Ethernet cabling rated for Fast Ethernet and keep cable runs within recommended Ethernet distance limits.
