MPO-4xLC Multimode OM4 Patch kabel BlueOptics 470-ABPG 5 metrů

The BlueOptics 470-ABPG 5 Meter MPO-4xLC multimode OM4 patch cable is designed for high-density network links requiring compact connectorization and high bandwidth. This 5 m fiber patch leads with an MPO connector on one end and four LC duplex connectors on the other, using OM4 multimode fiber optimized for short-reach, high-speed transmission in data centers and enterprise wiring closets. The cable's construction supports reliable signal integrity and consistent performance when connecting MPO-capable switches, patch panels and transceivers.

Advantages

This multimode OM4 cable delivers higher modal bandwidth compared with standard multimode types, enabling support for 10G/40G/100G short-reach links where MPO to LC breakout is required. The pre-terminated MPO-4xLC format reduces onsite termination time and simplifies rack deployment. Its 5 meter length provides a balance between flexibility and neat cable management in typical installation scenarios. The durable jacket and precise connector alignment contribute to lower insertion loss and stable optical performance.

How to use

Route the MPO-4xLC patch cable through cable management pathways to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain. Plug the MPO connector into the MPO port of the source device or patch panel, ensuring correct orientation and secure seating. Connect the four LC duplex connectors to the corresponding LC ports on the destination equipment or transceivers. Verify link integrity and optical power levels using appropriate test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Maintain minimum bend radii during installation and avoid excessive pulling force on connectors. Use compatible MPO keyed ports and correct polarity methods for breakout connections. Periodically inspect and clean connector endfaces with proper fiber cleaning tools to preserve low insertion loss and reliable performance.
