Microconnect IBM029B sériový kabel černý 3 m DB9 DB25

The Microconnect IBM029B is a 3 m black serial cable with DB9 and DB25 connectors, designed for reliable data transmission between serial devices. It is RoHS certified and lightweight at 46 g, making it suitable for installation, temporary connections, and transport. The cable supports standard serial communication and is intended for use where DB9 or DB25 interfaces are required.

Advantages

The cable offers two common connector types (DB9 and DB25) in a single 3 m assembly, providing compatibility with a wide range of legacy and industrial devices. Its RoHS certification confirms compliance with environmental regulations, and the low weight and compact package dimensions (275 x 159 mm) simplify handling and storage.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting PCs or laptops to serial peripherals with DB9 or DB25 ports
• Linking industrial equipment, PLCs or instrumentation that use RS-232 interfaces
• Temporary on-site diagnostics, configuration or firmware transfers
• Workshops or service centers needing a lightweight, portable serial connection

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Color: Black
• Connectors: DB9 and DB25
• Weight: 46 g
• Certification: RoHS
• Package dimensions (W x D): 275 x 159 mm

How to use

Connect the DB9 or DB25 end to the corresponding serial port on your device and the other end to the serial port of the host equipment. Ensure connectors are seated firmly and, if present, secure with connector screws. Configure the serial communication parameters (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits) on both devices to match before initiating data transfer.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid excessive bending near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use the shortest practical cable length for reliable RS-232 communication and verify connector pinouts when interfacing with specialized equipment.
