Čistič One-Click Cleaner BTR NETCOM SC ST FC E2000

The One-Click Cleaner BTR NETCOM SC ST FC E2000 by MetzConnect is a compact fiber optic connector cleaner compatible with SC, ST, FC and E2000 terminations. The white, pocket-sized housing contains a preloaded cleaning ribbon and a single-button mechanism that enables a controlled cleaning action in one motion. The tool is intended to remove dust, oil and light contamination from connector end-faces to help maintain signal integrity and reduce insertion loss in active and passive fiber installations.

Advantages

The cleaner offers one-click operation for fast and repeatable cleaning without the need for solvents or swabs. Its compact ergonomic design allows comfortable single-hand use and fits easily in tool kits or technician pockets. The preloaded cleaning medium provides multiple cleaning cycles while protecting ferrules and end-faces from mechanical damage. Compatibility with SC, ST, FC and E2000 connectors reduces the number of different cleaners required on-site.

Suitable for

• Field service and maintenance of LAN, MAN and datacenter fiber links
• Installation and commissioning of fiber optic patch panels and pigtails
• Quick cleaning of connectors during troubleshooting and testing
• Routine preventative maintenance of passive fiber infrastructure

Key specifications

• Connector compatibility: SC, ST, FC, E2000
• Operation: single-button (one-click) mechanical cleaning
• Housing: compact, lightweight, pocket-sized design
• Cleaning medium: preloaded dry ribbon for multiple cycles
• Intended use: dry cleaning of ferrule end-faces (no liquids required)

How to use

Remove the protective cap, insert the connector into the appropriate adapter opening, press the button until the mechanism completes a full stroke and withdraw the connector. Repeat if necessary using a clean section of the ribbon; follow established optical cleaning procedures to avoid touching the connector end-face. Do not disassemble the cleaner or attempt to clean connectors with visible damage. Replace the unit when the cleaning ribbon is exhausted or performance degrades.

Recommendations

Use the cleaner in a clean, dry environment and avoid exposing the cleaning ribbon to liquids. For contaminated connectors, first inspect with a fiber microscope and, if heavy soiling or residues remain after dry cleaning, follow manufacturer guidance for wet cleaning with approved solvents and lint-free wipes. Store the cleaner capped when not in use to preserve the cleaning medium.
