Managed switch Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Flex Mini 5 ks

The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Flex Mini (5-pack) is a managed 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for compact and flexible deployments. It provides five RJ45 Gigabit ports with a total switching capacity of 10 Gbit/s and supports powering via the included 5V, 1A USB-C adapter or by 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet on port 1. The device is managed through the UniFi Network Controller (version 5.12.5 or higher) and is suitable for expanding small wired networks in homes, offices, and light commercial environments.

Advantages

The UniFi Switch Flex Mini combines managed switching features with a small footprint and simple power options, allowing installation in locations without nearby AC outlets when PoE is available. Its Gigabit RJ45 ports deliver up to 1 Gbit/s per port and a 10 Gbit/s switching capacity for efficient local traffic handling. Integration with UniFi Network Controller enables centralized configuration and monitoring of multiple switches.

Suitable for

• Small office network expansion
• Home networks requiring additional wired ports
• Deployments where PoE powering is desired
• Edge installations managed via UniFi Network Controller

How to use

Connect the switch to your local network using Ethernet cables to the RJ45 ports. To power the unit, either plug the supplied 5V/1A USB-C adapter into the switch or provide PoE input on port 1 from a compatible IEEE 802.3af/at injector or PoE switch. Adopt and manage the switch using UniFi Network Controller version 5.12.5 or later: add the device in the controller, apply desired configuration profiles, and monitor status and traffic from the controller interface.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cabling and ensure PoE sources meet IEEE 802.3af/at standards when powering via Ethernet. Keep the controller software up to date and place the switch in a well-ventilated area to avoid overheating.
