Managed switch LevelOne Hilbert 10 inch 16portový Gigabit Smart Lite switch

The LevelOne Hilbert 10" 16-Port Gigabit Smart Lite Switch (GES-2216) is a managed rack-mount Ethernet switch designed for 10‑inch enclosures. It provides 16 Gigabit RJ45 ports with full duplex capability and a switching capacity of 32 Gbit/s. The switch supports common IEEE networking standards and includes features for VLAN segmentation, QoS and traffic monitoring. It is compatible with LevelOne IP Locator and works with mainstream Windows and Mac operating systems.

Advantages

This compact managed switch combines 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports with smart-lite functions to deliver reliable wired connectivity for small- to medium-sized networks. Hardware DIP-switch selection lets you toggle between dumb and smart modes for flexible deployment. Support for IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, Port Mirroring and multiple QoS methods (Port-Based / 802.1p / DSCP) enables traffic prioritization and monitoring, while Loop Detection/Prevention and Storm Control improve network stability and security. A web-based interface and Smart-Configuration Utility simplify IP setup and management.

Suitable for

• 10-inch rack or enclosure installations requiring a compact managed switch
• Small office or branch networks needing VLAN segmentation and QoS
• Environments requiring port-level traffic monitoring and basic security features

How to use

Mount the switch in a compatible 10‑inch rack or secure it inside a suitable enclosure. Connect power to the AC-in connector and attach network devices to the RJ45 ports. Use the DIP switch to select dumb or smart mode depending on your deployment needs. For smart mode configuration, access the device through the web-based user interface or use the Smart-Configuration Utility. Configure VLANs, QoS and Port Mirroring as required to segment traffic and enable monitoring.

Recommendations

For stable operation, place the switch in a well‑ventilated rack space, ensure proper grounding, and update settings via the web interface or configuration utility. Use VLANs to separate critical systems and apply QoS rules to prioritize latency-sensitive traffic.
