Krytka objektivu Nikon LC-62

The Nikon LC-62 lens cap is a snap-on front cap designed for lenses with a 62 mm filter/thread diameter. Manufactured to match NIKKOR optical accessories, this black plastic cap protects the front element of compatible lenses from dust, moisture, fingerprints and light scratches when the lens is not in use. It provides a simple mechanical barrier that helps preserve lens coatings and maintains optical performance during storage and transport.

Advantages

The LC-62 cap offers a secure snap-fit attachment that resists accidental detachment while remaining quick to remove when you need to shoot. Its lightweight construction avoids adding bulk to the lens, and the molded ribs on the exterior improve grip for easier handling. The neutral black finish minimizes reflections and is compatible with the visual design of NIKKOR lenses.

Suitable for

• Protecting front elements of 62 mm diameter lenses during storage and transport
• Use with AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D and AF-S Micro 60mm f/2.8G ED style lenses and other compatible optics with 62 mm thread
• General front-cap replacement for photographers who need a reliable, lightweight cover

Key specifications

• Type: Snap-on front lens cap
• Diameter: 62 mm (fits 62 mm filter/thread size)
• Color: Black
• Material: Durable molded plastic
• Mount style: Center-pinch snap fit for quick attachment and removal

How to use

Align the cap with the front of the lens so that the center-pinch tabs fit over the lens rim, then gently press until the cap snaps into place. To remove, squeeze the center tabs inward and pull the cap straight off the lens. Ensure the lens surface is free of large debris before attaching the cap to avoid trapping abrasive particles against the front element.

Recommendations

Store the cap in a clean, dry place when not attached to the lens and avoid forcing it onto lenses with incompatible thread sizes. Regularly clean the cap with a soft cloth to prevent transfer of dust or grit to lens surfaces; when using with professional optics, consider also using a rear cap and a padded case for full protection.
