Advantages

This male coaxial connector offers a compact 6 mm outer diameter that is compatible with common coaxial cables used in AV and RF systems. The white finish provides a discrete appearance in visible installations. The connector is intended for straightforward mechanical and electrical connection, enabling consistent signal transfer and minimizing intermittent contact issues when properly mounted.

Suitable for

• Connecting coaxial cables in home audio and video setups
• Repairing or replacing damaged male coax terminations
• DIY installations for TV, satellite and radio antenna systems
• Use in AV racks and junction points where a male 6 mm coax connector is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: male coaxial
• Outer diameter: 6 mm
• Colour: white
• Packaging: single unit in hanging retail box

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer sheath and dielectric to the appropriate dimensions for the connector type. Insert the cable conductor and shield into the connector body according to the connector's assembly method, then secure the connection by crimping or screwing as required by the specific connector design. After assembly, verify mechanical stability and continuity with suitable testing equipment before placing the cable into service.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use a connector that matches the cable diameter and follow the manufacturer-recommended stripping and assembly procedures. Avoid over-tightening mechanical parts and ensure good contact between conductor and connector. Test the completed connection for signal continuity and attenuation, and replace connectors that show corrosion or physical damage.
