Koaxiální adaptér ShiverPeaks BS85002-10

The ShiverPeaks BS85002-10 coaxial connector adapter provides a reliable transition between an F-type connector and a 4.0 mm connector. Supplied as a pack of 10 pieces, these compact adapters are intended for use where a secure RF connection is required between devices or cable runs that use different connector standards. The design focuses on maintaining signal integrity and ensuring a stable mechanical fit for coaxial cable assemblies in both residential and light-commercial environments.

Advantages

These ShiverPeaks adapters offer a straightforward mechanical conversion from F to 4.0 mm without the need for additional tools or modifications. The packaged set of 10 ensures consistent connector compatibility for multiple installations or spare parts storage. Their compact form factor minimizes insertion loss and supports standard coaxial cable handling practices.

Suitable for

• Adapting coaxial cables between devices with F and 4.0 mm connectors
• Home TV and satellite installations where connector conversion is required
• Small-scale AV and RF projects requiring multiple adapters
• Maintenance and spare part kits for technicians and installers

Key specifications

• Connector 1: F-type
• Connector 2: 4.0 mm
• Pack quantity: 10 pieces
• Application: coaxial/RF connector adapter

How to use

Ensure both mating connectors and cables are clean and free of debris before connecting. Attach the F-type side by threading it onto the corresponding threaded socket until hand-tight, then align and insert the 4.0 mm connector into its mating port until it seats securely. Do not overtighten; hand tightening is generally sufficient to establish a stable electrical and mechanical connection. For installations in towers or difficult-to-reach locations, use a properly sized wrench with light torque if required, taking care not to damage connector interfaces.

Recommendations

Store the connectors in a dry, dust-free environment and avoid exposing them to excessive moisture or corrosive substances. Inspect connector interfaces prior to use and replace any adapters showing visible wear or damage to maintain reliable signal transmission.
