Keystone modul ACT CAT6 plně stíněný punch down TD6022

The ACT CAT6 Keystone Jack Full Shielded Punch Down TD6022 is a shielded RJ45 keystone module designed for CAT6 structured cabling. Constructed with steel shielding and IDC punch-down contacts, this keystone jack provides a reliable connection point for Ethernet cabling in both commercial and residential network installations. The module fits standard keystone openings and accepts conventional CAT6 twisted-pair cable terminated via punch-down tools to the IDC contacts.

Advantages

The full shielded steel construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transmission in environments with potential electrical noise. The combination of RJ45 interface and IDC punch-down termination simplifies integration into patch panels, wall plates, and surface-mount boxes while offering mechanical durability for repeated connector use. Compatibility with CAT6 cabling ensures performance suitable for gigabit Ethernet networks where shielded termination is required.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet installations requiring CAT6 performance and shielded termination
• Commercial office networks located near electrical equipment or cable bundles
• Residential installations where improved protection from interference is desired
• Patch panels, wall plates, and surface-mount boxes with standard keystone openings

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6 compatible
• Connector type: RJ45 jack
• Termination: IDC punch-down contacts
• Shielding: full steel shielded construction
• Form factor: keystone module for standard keystone openings

How to use

Route the CAT6 twisted-pair cable to the mounting location and prepare the outer jacket and pairs according to standard termination practice. Insert each conductor into the corresponding IDC slot following the wiring color code for T568A or T568B. Use a suitable punch-down tool to secure conductors into the IDC contacts and trim any excess wire. Snap the keystone jack into the compatible wall plate, patch panel, or surface-mount box, then connect an RJ45 patch cable to the front port to complete the link.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain correct wiring order and ensure the shielding is properly grounded at the patch panel or outlet. Test the terminated connection with a cable tester rated for CAT6 to verify continuity and pair integrity before finalizing installation.
