Kabelový adaptér ShiverPeaks BS75006-MS

The ShiverPeaks BS75006-MS Cable Gender Changer is a compact adapter that converts the connector gender of RJ-45 network cables, allowing two standard Ethernet cables to be joined without re-terminating ends. Designed for practical networking tasks, this white inline adapter provides a simple method to extend cable runs or change connector orientation in patch panels, workstations, or temporary setups.

Advantages

This gender changer uses gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transmission and resist corrosion over time. Its compact, molded housing offers a tidy appearance and straightforward insertion into existing cabling. The device is compatible with standard 8P8C (RJ-45) connectors and is useful where a quick, tool-free solution is required to adapt or extend Ethernet cabling.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet cable runs in homes and offices
• Connecting two patch cables to reach a switch or router
• Temporary network setups for events or testing
• Adapting cable gender when rearranging patch panels or workstations

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C) female to female
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Color: white molded housing
• Compatibility: fits standard Ethernet twisted-pair cables (Cat5e/Cat6 and similar)
• Form factor: compact inline adapter for minimal footprint

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 cable plug into one side of the adapter and the second RJ-45 plug into the opposite side until both click into place. Verify the physical connection and test the network link using device LEDs or network diagnostics. For best performance, avoid using more than one inline adapter in series and ensure connected cables are undamaged and meet the required category for your network speed.

Recommendations

Use the adapter indoors in a dry environment and avoid subjecting it to excessive mechanical stress or repeated flexing. For permanent or high-performance installations, prefer direct-terminated cables or professionally installed patch panels; use this gender changer for temporary adaptations, troubleshooting, or short extensions.
