How to use

Insert fresh AA batteries into the battery compartment following polarity markings. Connect the microphone to a compatible mixer, recorder, or console using an XLR-3 cable. Position the microphone approximately 5–15 cm from the speaker’s mouth for clear vocal capture, keeping the capsule aimed at the speaker. Adjust the gain on the connected device to obtain a clean signal without clipping. After use, switch off the microphone and remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.

Recommendations

For optimal speech clarity, use the microphone in close-mic technique (5–15 cm) and maintain a steady hand or use a simple handheld mount. Use wind protection outdoors to reduce plosive and wind noise, and check battery level before critical recordings to ensure uninterrupted operation.
