How to use

Install the card into an available PCIe slot on the motherboard. For both U.2 ports to be active, enable PCIe bifurcation (split) in the motherboard BIOS so the PCIe lanes are divided appropriately. Connect U.2 SSDs to the SFF-8639 ports and secure drives according to the chassis specifications. Confirm drive recognition in the operating system and install any necessary drivers or management tools for your server OS.

Recommendations

Without PCIe bifurcation enabled on the motherboard, only the first SFF-8639 (U.2) port will be usable. Ensure your motherboard supports PCIe bifurcation and that BIOS settings are configured before relying on both ports.
