How to use

Connect one USB-C male end to a compatible host device (laptop, desktop or docking station) and the other end to a USB-C peripheral such as an external drive, hub or monitor that accepts USB data over USB-C. Ensure both connected devices support USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds to achieve the maximum 10 Gbit/s throughput. No external power source is required for basic data transfer operation; follow device manufacturer instructions if specific power delivery or alternate mode features are needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain a bend radius consistent with typical USB-C cabling. Use the cable in environments within normal indoor temperature and humidity ranges. Verify both devices support the expected USB data rates and, if using docking stations or hubs, ensure firmware and drivers are up to date to maximize compatibility and throughput.
