InLine USB 3.2 Gen.1 kabel Type-A samec / Type-A samice, černý, 5m

The InLine USB 3.2 Gen.1 Cable Type A male / Type A female InLine 35665 is a 5 meter extension cable designed for devices with USB A ports. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates up to 5 Gbit/s and features gold-plated connector contacts for improved conductivity and resistance to corrosion. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance and basic mechanical protection while the Type A male to Type A female configuration allows extension of existing USB A cables or direct connection between compatible hosts and peripherals where extension is required.

Advantages

This cable provides a straightforward way to extend USB A connections without changing device setup and supports high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices. Gold-plated contacts enhance electrical contact quality and reduce oxidation over time. The 5 m length offers flexibility in device placement and routing, while the standard Type A male and female connectors ensure wide compatibility with existing USB A peripherals and hosts.

Suitable for

• Extending an existing USB A cable to reach distant devices
• Connecting external storage devices to a computer when more cable length is needed
• Temporarily relocating USB peripherals such as printers, scanners or hubs
• Situations requiring USB 3.2 Gen 1 bandwidth for faster file transfers

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB A (female)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 5 m
• Product colour: Black
• Connector contacts: gold-plated

How to use

Connect the Type A male end of the cable to the host or to an existing USB A cable, and attach the device or peripheral to the Type A female end. Ensure both connected devices support the intended USB version to achieve optimal transfer rates. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent sharp kinks or heavy loads that could damage the jacket or internal conductors. For maximum performance, use with devices and ports that support USB 3.2 Gen 1.

Recommendations

Position the cable away from sources of electromagnetic interference such as large power supplies or unshielded data lines. If using with high-power or high-bandwidth peripherals, verify firm connections and periodically inspect the gold-plated contacts for debris. For stable data transfer over long runs, minimize the number of chained extension cables and prefer a single continuous cable where possible.
