InLine SCSI II kabel 50pin Mini D-sub samec/samec 15514

The InLine SCSI II Cable 50 Pin Mini D-sub male / male (MPN 15514) is a 2 m beige cable with 50-pin mini D-sub connectors on both ends and a 1:1 pin assignment. It is designed to link SCSI devices reliably, providing a straightforward, fully wired connection for data transfer between compatible hardware.

Advantages

This SCSI II cable offers a full 1:1 pin assignment to ensure correct signal mapping between devices and comes in a standard 2 m length for typical desktop and rack setups. The molded mini D-sub male connectors provide a secure mechanical fit, while the beige jacket matches many legacy systems. The cable is suitable for applications requiring a direct wired SCSI connection without pin remapping.

Suitable for

• Connecting SCSI peripherals with 50-pin mini D-sub interfaces
• Linking internal or external SCSI devices in legacy systems
• Data transfer between SCSI controllers and drives requiring 1:1 wiring

How to use

Ensure both devices to be connected have compatible 50-pin mini D-sub sockets. Align each male connector with the mating female port and secure any fastening screws if present. Use the cable to connect the SCSI controller and peripheral or two compatible SCSI devices, taking care to route the cable to avoid excessive bending and mechanical stress. Verify device recognition and data transfer settings in the host system after connection.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid tight cable bends and keep the cable away from sources of electromagnetic interference. Confirm that your SCSI devices support a straight-through (1:1) cable; if a different pinout or termination is required, use the appropriate cable or adapter.
