InLine SCSI II kabel 50pin Mini D-sub samec/samec 1 m béžový

The InLine SCSI II Cable 50 Pin Mini D-sub male/male, 1 m, beige is intended for connecting external SCSI-2 devices to SCSI host controllers. It uses a 50-pin Mini D-sub connector on both ends with HD pin spacing and a clamp lock mechanism instead of screws. The cable has a 1:1 pin assignment with twisted pairs and a single foil shield to support reliable external SCSI connections.

Advantages

The 50-pin Mini D-sub male-to-male configuration enables direct SCSI-2 connections between host controllers and external devices. HD pin spacing and a clamp lock provide a compact connector with simple, tool-free securing. The 1:1 assignment with twisted pairs reduces crosstalk between signal lines, and the single foil shielding offers basic protection against electromagnetic interference for typical external SCSI setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting external SCSI-2 peripherals to SCSI host controllers
• Legacy storage arrays and scanners that use 50-pin Mini D-sub interfaces
• Short external SCSI cabling runs up to 1 meter

Key specifications

• Connector: 50-pin Mini D-sub (male/male)
• Length: 1 m
• Pin spacing: HD (high density)
• Locking: clamp lock (no screws)
• Wiring: 1:1 assignment with twisted pairs
• Shielding: single foil shield
• Color: beige
• Standard: SCSI-2 (external)

How to use

Align each 50-pin Mini D-sub connector with the corresponding external SCSI port on the host controller and peripheral. Insert the connectors fully and engage the clamp locks to secure the connection; no screwdrivers are required. Ensure devices and host controller are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid electrical issues. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it separate from high-power or noisy cables where possible.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable for short external SCSI-2 connections (up to 1 m) and maintain proper grounding and device termination as specified by your SCSI controller and peripheral manuals.
