InLine patch kabel SF/UTP Cat.5e šedý 15 m

The InLine Patch Cable SF/UTP Cat.5e grey 15m is a 15-metre category 5e twisted-pair network cable designed for connecting devices with RJ45 ports such as switches, routers, patch panels, wall sockets and network cards. It supports Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gbit/s) at up to 125 MHz and uses SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable data transmission in home and office networks.

Advantages

SF/UTP shielding combines an overall foil with individual pair screening to provide improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables. The 15 m length offers flexibility in device placement without the need for additional patching. Conforming to Cat5e standards, the cable supports reliable Gigabit connections and is finished in a neutral grey colour suitable for many installation environments.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This Cat5e cable is not intended for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links or applications requiring higher bandwidth beyond 125 MHz; for those use cases Cat6 or Cat6a (or higher) cables should be considered. It is also not a speciality cable for outdoor burial, direct burial, or industrial environments with extreme temperatures unless additional protective measures are applied.

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connectors into the appropriate ports on your network devices (switch, router, patch panel or network card). Ensure connectors are fully seated and secure to maintain a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong electromagnetic sources; if installed in ceiling voids or cable trays, maintain appropriate bend radius and avoid crushing the cable.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use this SF/UTP Cat5e patch cable for indoor Gigabit network links and structured cabling where improved shielding is desired; avoid using it for 10 Gbit/s requirements or harsh outdoor conditions without suitable protection.
