InLine optický duplexní kabel LC/ST 50/125µm OM2 2 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/ST 50/125µm OM2 2m is a multimode fiber patch cable engineered for full duplex connections between LC and ST ports. With a 50/125µm core/cladding diameter and OM2 modal bandwidth characteristics, this 2 meter cable supports standard multimode networks and short-range high-speed data transmission while maintaining low insertion loss. It is intended for linking switches, routers, transceivers and other fiber optic equipment in enterprise and data center environments.

Advantages

This cable provides reliable duplex communication through paired fibers, combining the compact LC connector with the bayonet-style ST connector for compatibility with a wide range of devices. The 50/125µm multimode construction and OM2 rating enable adequate bandwidth for common LAN and campus installations. Its 2 m length offers flexibility for rack and cabinet routing while keeping signal attenuation minimal. Durable connector ferrules and a standardized jacket help ensure consistent insertion loss and long-term stability.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and routers within data centers and server rooms
• Linking multimode transceivers and SFP modules that use LC or ST interfaces
• Patch panels and horizontal cabling in enterprise LANs
• Short-range backbone links and equipment interconnects

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode
• Core / cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• OM classification: OM2
• Connector A: LC (duplex)
• Connector B: ST (duplex)
• Length: 2 m
• Cable configuration: Duplex (paired fibers)
• Typical use: Short-range multimode data transmission

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Insert the LC connector into the LC receptacle until it clicks, and align the ST connector with the bayonet socket then twist and lock it into place. Ensure duplex polarity is correct (transmit-to-receive) by matching the transmit pair on one end to the receive pair on the other end. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, kinks, and mechanical stress; maintain minimum bend radius as specified by multimode fiber best practices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connectors protected when not in use, use dust caps, and perform optical loss testing after installation. Use this OM2 50/125µm cable for short to medium distance multimode links; for longer distances or higher bandwidth requirements consider higher OM classifications or singlemode solutions.
