InLine optický duplexní kabel LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 10m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 10m is a multimode fiber cable engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. It features an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, supporting duplex operation for simultaneous send and receive channels. The 50/125 µm core/cladding profile and OM3 classification ensure optimized bandwidth for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and similar network applications, while the 10 m length provides flexibility for patching between equipment racks, switches and transceivers.

Advantages

This fiber cable provides consistent optical performance thanks to its OM3 multimode specification and 50/125 µm core, offering lower attenuation and higher modal bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode fibers. The LC to SC duplex configuration simplifies connection to mixed-equipment environments where different connector types are used. Its standardized connector types and proven fiber geometry make installation straightforward and maintenance predictable.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centers and enterprise networks
• Interconnects between switches, patch panels and transceivers
• Short- to medium-range backbone and horizontal cabling
• Multimode optical testing and equipment integration

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• OM classification: OM3
• Connector A: LC duplex
• Connector B: SC duplex
• Length: 10 m
• Duplex capability: Full duplex (separate transmit and receive fibers)
• Cable jacket: Flexible jacket suitable for indoor patching (standard indoor rating)

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Route the 10 m cable between devices avoiding sharp bends and tight radii; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber. Connect the LC end to devices or modules with LC ports and the SC end to devices or patch panels with SC ports, ensuring correct alignment of transmit and receive channels for duplex links. After installation, verify link performance with optical test equipment or network diagnostics to confirm expected signal levels and bandwidth.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable by the jacket rather than the connectors to prevent endface damage. Avoid exceeding the cable's minimum bend radius and keep connector endfaces capped when not in use. For critical links, perform end-to-end testing after installation and document link loss values for future maintenance.
