InLine FireWire 400 1394 kabel 6 pin samec / samec 1,8 m

The InLine FireWire 400 1394 Cable (6‑pin male to 6‑pin male, 1.8 m) complies with IEEE 1394 standards and provides a reliable wired connection for multimedia peripherals. It supports a data transfer rate of up to 400 Mbit/s and is suitable for connecting digital camcorders, DVD players, digital audio equipment and other compatible devices. The black cable offers standard durability and compatibility across devices with FireWire 400 ports.

Advantages

The 6‑pin male/male connector design ensures straightforward plug‑and‑play connections between compatible devices. With a length of 1.8 m, the cable provides sufficient reach for typical home and studio setups. Support for IEEE 1394 (FireWire 400) at 400 Mbit/s enables stable audio and video data transfer for recording and playback.

Suitable for

• Connecting digital camcorders to computers or recorders
• Linking DVD players and other video sources with FireWire ports
• Transferring digital audio between compatible devices
• General multimedia data transfer at FireWire 400 speeds

How to use

Firmly insert each 6‑pin connector into the FireWire port of the devices you want to link. Ensure both devices are powered on if required by the device workflows (for example, some camcorders or recorders need to be switched on for data transfer). Use the cable to transfer video or audio files or to enable direct device‑to‑device communication at FireWire 400 speeds. Disconnect by gently pulling the connector straight out to avoid damaging ports.

Recommendations

Use the cable with devices that explicitly support FireWire 400 (IEEE 1394). Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal integrity.
